Dr. Lubchenco is the ninth administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). NOAA is the nation’s top science agency for the climate, oceans, and the atmosphere. Dr. Lubchenco is the first woman, and the first marine ecologist, to lead NOAA.
