* Please join 15-20 children from Beacon House, ages 6-12, on an outing to Calvert Farm! Calvert Farm, a small, certified organic farm in Cecil County, MD (www.calvertfarm.org), has agreed to host the Beacon House group for the day, and will present a program emphasizing sustainable food production. We will have a tour of the farm, likely help with some plantings, and learn all about healthy eating. It should be a fun and educational day! For this outing, we are particularly interested in volunteers who are willing to drive and transport several children.
