New scholarship opportunity for immigrant students in the capital region. This listserve has been an advocate for the underserved and I am asking for your support.
This spring, the Esperanza Education Fund will award: (1) $5,000 two-year scholarships and $10,000 four-year scholarships (2) to immigrant students in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia, (3) to attend public colleges and universities, (4)
regardless of ethnicity, national origin, or immigration status.
Application materials and information are attached to this email and also available online at http://www.esperanzafund.org/apply.htm.
Applications are due March 27, 2009, and awards will be announced April 27, 2009.
