Position for Graduate Student Interested in Climate Change: Deadline March 31, 2009

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas has funding to support a graduate student, preferably at the doctoral level interested in advancing knowledge and practice of climate change pedagogy at institutions of higher education. The student will develop a research agenda focused around climate curriculum trends and practices, measures of student learning, design of educational tools and modules, and opportunities for integration across curricula. The student will also be involved in developing and running a Climate Change Curriculum Conference at UNLV during the summer of 2010. The stipend will be $20,000 per year ($18,000 if a MS student). Ideally, the student will have submitted all application materials to the Environmental Science graduate program no later than March 31, 2009. Students already in good standing with the UNLV Graduate College are also eligible.
