Description


The Manager for International and Domestic Programming provides planning and administrative support to ASTA International, Government Affairs and Communication Departments.

•Prepare correspondence and assist in preparation of contracts, itineraries and travel documents. • Coordinate arrangements of meetings for visiting international and ASTA delegations • As necessary, travel domestically and internationally with teams and consultants engaged in ASTA’s international programs • Process trip reports and payment requests • Assist in follow-up after program activity completion • Assist in Government Affairs workshop preparations including logistics, briefing materials and confirming appointments with Congressional staff• Assist in preparation of final copy of Seed E-News• Assist in preparation of ASTA outreach and handout material for stakeholder meetings. • As necessary, travel to stakeholder meetings assist at ASTA booth • Administrative assistance related to ASTA committee and division activities prior to and after ASTA meetings and conventions. • Other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements


Two or more years experience working in an office setting, experience with associations a plus. Experience working with international visitors or U.S. Government preferred. Bachelor degree. Experience working with Microsoft Office. Must be well organized, reliable, energetic and have an attention to detail. It is necessary to have the ability to work under deadlines and have good communication skills, both verbal and written and ability to handle multiple projects at one time. Must be able to relate to all types of personalities and must be able to display a helpful, courteous and professional attitude to all persons involved on behalf of the Association.
