Last Day to Apply: Earth Expeditions

Four years ago the Education Department at the Cincinnati Zoo and Project Dragonfly at Miami University partnered to create Earth Expeditions - a global conservation program that acknowledges educators as agents of conservation action. Project Dragonfly brought to the partnership their expertise in inquiry and participatory education which we combined with our knowledge of environmental education, Natural History interpretation, conservation education and our relationship with in situ conservation project abroad. We take educators to Namibia, Mongolia, Thailand, Belize, Costa Rica,Trinidad and new this year - Kenya to immerse them in inquiry and community based conservation. For $1150.00 plus your airfare youreceive 7 graduate credits, all your in country meals, lodging and logistics are covered. Hope you all get the chance to take advantage ofthis opportunity.
