Just a quick note from Green Corps headquarters in Boston. We're all gearing up for a big day - January 20, 2008 - the preferred application deadline for the Green Corps Class of 2009. After visiting more than 30 campuses, 25 career fairs, and conductinghours of outreach to students across the country, we're expecting an impressive batch of applications to arrive on the deadline. I'm writing to see if you know of anyone that would make a goodcandidate for the program. Do you know any seniors that are looking forpost-graduate opportunities? Do you know recent graduates that wouldlike to make a difference?

The great thing about Green Corps is our training program. Applicants do not need previous experience. We're looking for graduating seniors that are concerned about the environment and believe in the power of people. Of course, you know that Green Corps is more than a 13-month training program. We provide support and training to our alumni throughout their careers in environmental protection and social change. Competition for the Green Corps program is intense. We will accept 35 candidates from a pool of more than 2,000 applications. So get those applications in before January 20!
